AS I REMEMBER THEM

Noel Stewart (nee White) joined the West Australian Newspaper in 1928.
"As I Remember Them" records the work and lives of many women of the nineteen-twenties and nineteen-thirties who were overlooked in "Reflections",
which was produced for the 150th anniversary of the State. It also conveys a
picture of the surroundings and the conditions in which all these women worked
and in so doing, contributes to the better understanding of an important period
in the social history of the State. The book contains a substantial amount of biographical information and details about the many charitable and social organisations which these women founded, served or supported.
