JOHN SEPTIMUS ROE - the start of it all!
I became interested in my family tree when a 'cousin' rang me asking for information about my line of the tree. I had never met her before but as I had always been interested in my ancestors 'but never got round to it', we have been in touch ever since, sharing our common interests. Starting with just the line common to us both, which was the Roe family (John Septimus Roe, first Surveyor General of Western Australia), I got hooked! Now, like most others researching their trees, I am researching every link possible - backward, forwards and all the branches. My husband is also 'hooked' and is researching his family from Germany and Holland.
We are happy to share any research we've done if it is of interest to anyone. The list below contains only the main names of 'our lines' but I'll try to add more when time permits.
